This website provides information about virtual international Nar-Anon Family Groups for men to share their experience, strength and hope. While these groups are primarily composed of men, and the discussion is about men’s experience, Tradition 3 states “the only requirement for membership is that there is a problem of addiction in a relative or friend.” Thus, any person with an addicted loved one may join a meeting. Because the members of most other Nar-Anon groups are predominantly women, these groups were started to provide a venue where men can hear the experience of other men and seek sponsors. All experience in Nar-Anon is equally valid, but it often helps to hear experience similar to one’s own.
